A number of clients regularly send out mass e-mails to advertise their products or services, to keep their own customers updated (newsletters) or to simply share information with their clients or prospective customers.

This often causes problems with Internet providers as these are considered to be ‘SPAM’ e-mails and are therefore blocked. In many cases, the company IP address(s) is blacklisted and this causes additional problems both sending and receiving e-mails. Additionally, sending out bulk e-mails slows down your network as your systems become busy dealing with this large increase in workload.

The answer to this problem is to use our Bulk e-Mail (or SMTP) Service which effectively gives your IT system a local post-office to send its mail to. Mail is then forwarded on without your IT system being involved. This ‘post office’ is set up to specifically send out bulk e-mails and does not become blocked or blacklisted.
